You change your mind like a girl changes clothes...

I know it's been a while since I rapped at ya (Jim Anchower reference) but I have been cataloguing like a thousand books at the NEW ArtCulture Partnership LIBRARY! I am totally relieved that my sister Mitch has taken Little Pink Dress Project over for me. It is her brain child and I was swamped, but don't worry, she and James Handis are pulling it together.

I am shaking money trees and I just signed a contract with the Fox Tucson Theatre to hold the date for Le Petit Carnaval! February 7th 2009. Tickets will go on sale in December and you better be ready. On top of the performers mentioned in the previous post of Eric's, we have lots of outdoor entertainment as well. Ned Schaper of the Museum of Kinetic Art, formerly called Mat Bevel institute, is totally going to create an awesome display of kinetic sculpture that will give the event the sound, light, and motion of a carnival. Whiskey Breath Burlesque has volunteered their services as buskers. If you don't know what a busker is, ask Eric. I'm going to be using that word everyday for the rest of my life. Get used to it.

On another note, Prescott College (one proud sponsor of Le Petit Carnaval) is going to interview me for their catalog. I believe this is because I am putting my cultural studies degree to work on a cultural festival. Le Petit Carnaval!

I am now going over to Teatro Paloma to break the news about my veganism.

workworkworkwork. and work. and FUN!

Aside from my house manager gig at the Fox Theatre, I have 2 head shot gigs and a wedding! Aaaaand, 2 new strobes! They're not very powerful, but they have all the bells and whistles. Also, I'm now designing posters at the theater, and Sofia has a new project in the works called Le Petit Carnaval that I'm helping with. It's going to be a good show, and I hope to get my brother's band Marvelle to play for us. We also have Marianne Dissard and Le Chat Lunatique and of course, Cabaret Bohème. More to follow...
